Dog bites boy's arm

Police want to talk to a man whose dog bit a boy in Woodville as a mother was walking her two children to school.

A dog being walked along a path near the High Street jumped up and tore through the boy's coat sleeve biting his arm, but he was otherwise unharmed.

Couple 'overwhelmed' by locals' generosity

Yvonne Karusseit from Melbourne says the help they've received from their friends and people living in the village has been overwhelming.

The minister of the local baptist church Jacqui Verney said: "Individuals in the church have donated money, also there have been envelopes put in the offering bag that just say Clive and Yvonne with anonymous next to it for our treasurer to bring to them. Other people have given them food.

"It is lovely. People from not just our church but from every church, neighbours, friends, even people they don't know. Boxes of food have been delivered to the door, just left there and they don't know who it's from."
