Your views: Get Assembly Rooms 'back in use'

Facebook

You've been reacting on Facebook to our story about Derby City Council's bid for government funding to rebuild the Assembly Rooms.

Mark Vallis said: "The Government won't stump up for this project with Labour in. They mismanaged this issue from the start. They've had the insurance payout for long enough, so why not just get the venue back in use."

And Jason Potts posted: "£50m for a 3,000-capacity venue? It'll take well over 1,500 sell out shows at £10 a head just to break even. Somebody hasn't done their maths. It better be busy!"
