    Similar right?

That's because - apart from the fact the one in Delhi is double the size of Leicester's - they were both designed by English architect Edwin Lutyens.

    Edwin Lutyens

Today Leicester's memorial will be visited by the High Commissioner of India.

He is expected to attend a special commemorative event to lay a wreath of marigolds at the Arch of Remembrance in memory of the 1,174 Indian men from the Labour Corps who lost their lives in World War One.

About 300 schoolchildren, as well as the city and Lord mayors of Leicester, will attend the ceremony.

It's part of the Unremembered Project, which has been organised by the Big Ideas Company.
