Blind-friendly Conan Doyle exhibition in Portsmouth
A sensory exhibition about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has been developed by Portsmouth Central Library.
It worked with the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) and the University of Portsmouth on the project which aims to help visually impaired people enjoy the Conan Doyle collection.
It includes 16 audio described tactile panels, two handling boxes and a bust of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The exhibition will be going on a tour across Hampshire.
Appeal following assault and exposure in Kidlington
Police are investigating a sexual assault that took place in Kidlington.
It happened last Friday at about 16:50 in the alleyway between Oxford Road and Crown Road, where a woman in her 20s was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her arm.
He then exposed himself and left the scene.
PC Sharon Harris said: "Understandably, this has been a very distressing incident for the victim, and she is being supported by the investigation team at this time.
"We are carrying out an investigation into this offence, and would like to hear from anyone who may have any information relevant to the investigation."
Morebus pioneers horseshoe 'social' seating on Bournemouth buses
A bus company is to trial horse-shoe shaped seating at the back of buses in a bid encourage passengers to be more sociable.
The new seats on two Morebus routes in Bournemouth accommodate eight people in a "lounge-type environment".
The company said the layout could also discourage passengers from putting bags on spare seas to deter people from sitting beside them. It is running a public consultation before introducing it on new buses.
Managing director Andrew Wickham said said the U-shaped layout echoed bus designs used in Paris in the 1930s and hoped it would encourage friends and families to travel together.

The girl was on her way to school when she was grabbed by a man in his 40s who tried to grope her.

New Forest tracks appear on Google Street View
More than 100 miles of the New Forest’s off-road paths can now be seen on Google Street View.
In a partnership with Google, New Forest National Park Authority staff and Forestry Commission volunteers photographed the forest’s top tracks using a special 360-degree camera carried in a backpack.
Among the areas that can now be explored as part of Google Street View are Blackwater Arboretum, Hurst Castle and the Beaulieu River's shoreline.

Some Westgate stores won't be ready in time
Fewer than half of the units at Westgate Oxford will be open when the shopping centre launches later this month.
The £440m development is to welcome its first shoppers on 24 October.
There will be 125 units containing shops, restaurants and cafes when the centre is entirely finished but it has been confirmed that just 60 are on track to open on the launch date.
Timetable changes announced by operator
South Western Railway says it will listen to feedback from rail users after it announced plans to shake up the timetable.
It means fewer direct trains between Weymouth and Waterloo.
South Western Railway says it is about improving the service for passengers and has launched a consultation on proposals.

A man tried to sexually assault a 12-year-old girl in Gosport this morning, police have said.
She was a walking through an alleyway off Weymouth Avenue on her way to school when it happened between 08:00 and 08:15 BST.
The man tried to put his hand down her top, before she managed to struggle free and run to safety.
She described him as being white, in his early 40s, with short blond greasy hair.
