A far-right speaker from Poland has cancelled his trip to the UK, including a potential visit to Slough.
The town's MP Tan Dhesi had written to the home secretary calling for Rafał Ziemkiewicz to be banned from speaking in the town.
He said in the letter: "Islamaphobia, anti-semitism and racial discrimination are unwelcome in Slough, and are detrimental for community cohesion."
The writer had been due to speak in London but that talk was cancelled following pressure from Acton and Ealing Central MP Rupa Huq.
Mr Ziemkiewicz said he has not ruled out a future visit to the UK.
KFC in chicken and chips delivery crisis
A KFC in Bracknell has been forced to close after running out of chips in an apparent delivery foul-up.
Customers have been taking to Twitter to express their disappointment.
A number of other stores across the country say they have also been affected with supplies of chips or chicken.
A KFC spokesperson said: “We deliver fresh chicken to our restaurants, but we’re having a few hiccups with our delivery system at the moment.
"We’re really sorry for any inconvenience, and we’re working to have all our restaurants back up and running as soon as we can!”
Teenager stabbed in north Oxford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck and arm in Oxford.
It happened at 21:45 GMT yesterday after a disturbance involving a group of people on Middle Way and Rogers Street in Summertown.
The boy was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.
His condition is said to be serious but stable. No details of his attackers have yet been released.
Police are keen to trace the person who took him to hospital.
Sentencing adjourned for football gear fraudster
A woman who admitted taking part in a scam over fake football memorabilia has been told her sentencing has been adjourned until 27 February.
Earlier Clare Rennie's husband David, 46, from Banbury, was jailed for six years at Bournemouth Crown Court.
The couple's website, FA Premier Signings, sold football shirts and other items with forged signatures purporting to be from leading players.
Ms Rennie, 45, also from Banbury, admitted fraud and money laundering at an earlier hearing.
Driver jailed for killing pony and trap rider
A drink-driver who admitted causing the death of a pony and trap rider has been jailed.
Oliver Wareham, 29, crashed into the back of 33-year-old William Gaskin’s carriage at about 69mph in Old Netley, Hampshire, on 26 March last year. Mr Gaskin died at the scene.
Southampton Crown Court heard he drunk six-and-a-half pints of lager, two Jagermeisters and a Jack Daniels in the three hours before the collision.
Wareham, of Rownhams Road in Southampton, was sentenced to four years and four months in prison.
Banbury Museum expansion give green light
Plans to expand Banbury Museum have been given the go-ahead.
Among the proposed changes approved by Cherwell District Council are an extension to the existing building alongside the canal, to include a new gallery, and an additional storey to house a lecture space.
Man charged over Bournemouth town centre stabbing
A man has been charged after a man was stabbed in the back in Bournemouth town centre.Dorset Police were called at 06:35 GMT on Thursday morning to reports of a disturbance at an address in Old Christchurch Road. A local man aged in his 30s was found with stab wounds to his back.
A 23-year-old Bournemouth man has been charged with wounding with intent.A 26-year-old man, also from Bournemouth, was arrested on suspicion of assault and is assisting officers with their inquiries.Police said both men are known to the injured man.

Spitfire tribute for Southampton theatre launch
A Spitfire has "landed" in Southampton's Guildhall Square to mark the opening of the city's new theatre and arts venue.
Nuffield Southampton Theatres' (NST) new venue, NST City, is staging The Shadow Factory - a play about Southampton's role in The Battle of Britain.
The new arts centre - Studio 144 - also houses facilities for City Eye community filmmakers and the John Hansard Gallery.

Plans to replace a 1970s bridge between Romsey and Southampton over the M27 have gone on show to the public.
The new bridge will replace the existing structure, built in 1974, which carries the A3057 over the M27 between junctions 3 and 4.
It is actually formed of two bridges side by side and is used by more than 12,000 vehicles each day travelling between Nursling and Upton.
Work to demolish and replace the bridges is expected to begin in the summer.
Public information events are being held at Nursling and Rownhams Village Hall today and tomorrow.
Service station worker injured by crowbar raiders
A member of staff at a service station in Hampshire has suffered a head wound after he was assaulted with a crowbar during a robbery in the early hours of this morning.
Three men forced entry through the back door of the Stoney Cross services on the westbound A31 in the New Forest just before 04.30 GMT.
Two staff members were threatened before one was attacked with the crowbar. Police believe the suspects fled the scene with cash from the till.

Banbury man jailed for £1m fake football memorabilia fraud

A man has been jailed for five years and six months for selling fake signed items of football memorabilia reported to have netted £1m.
David Rennie, from Banbury, Oxfordshire, sold shirts, balls and boots purportedly signed by famous footballers including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney.
The 46-year-old was convicted by a jury at Bournemouth Crown Court last month of participating in a fraudulent business as a sole trader and money laundering.
His wife Claire who pleaded guilty to the two offences, is due to be sentenced later.
