  1. YouTubers' tea theft trial dropped

    Ally Law and Ryan Taylor

    Two YouTube stars have pleaded guilty to dishonestly using electricity at an indoor ski slope centre during a filmed "overnight challenge" in 2017.

    Ally Law, 22, from Southampton and Ryan Taylor, 26, from Bloxwich - who are famed for stunts which often involve trespassing - admitted switching on equipment at Snozone Xscape in Milton Keynes.

    But Aylesbury Crown Court heard that a charge of burglary relating to "hot beverages" will lie on file.

    Judge Catherine Tulk said: "I don't think it is a good use of a Crown Court's time."

    She sentenced each of the men to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work.

  4. Chineham recycling centre pictures

    Basingstoke firefighters have tweeted pictures of the damage caused following this morning's fire at the recycling facility at the recycling facility at Chineham.

    The blaze broke out shortly after 09:00. No-one was hurt.

  5. BreakingPortsmouth City Council set to buy office complex

    Portsmouth City Council is considering purchasing a major office complex in the city.

    The authority announced it is looking to acquire the 590,000sqft of office space at the Lakeside North Harbour in Cosham as what it described as a "strategic acquisition, supporting the local economy for the longer term".

    A decision on whether the council proceeds with the freehold purchase is set to be made on 17 June

  7. Weather warning in place for heavy rain

    There's now an Amber weather warning for London, and much of the South East following downpours overnight.

    The Met Office has warned that the heaviest and most persistent rain is still to come with a warning in place on Monday covering an area from the Humber all the way down to the south coast, and from the East Midlands to Portsmouth.

    Forecasters said some places could see a month's worth of rain in two or three days, and we could see some flooding issues.

  8. Image released of schoolgirl, 12 hurt in cyclist hit-and-run

    The mum of a 12-year-old schoolgirl seriously hurt in a hit-and-run has released a photo of her injuries in a bid to catch the cyclist responsible.

    Casey was struck as she rode her push-along scooter to school along Hamble Lane, Hamble, on Wednesday morning.

    Her mum, Natalie Stewart said: "He looked back but carried on riding. Her face was covered in blood - the guy would have definitely seen that he injured her."


    Casey was taken to hospital for treatment to serious face injuries including a fractured eye socket.

    Ms Stewart said Casey was awaiting further checks in hospital to reveal the full extent of her injuries once the swelling had gone down.

    Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward on 101, quoting 44190194059.

    Her family are also trying to track down a van driver who stopped to help Casey to thank him.
