Ferry out of service for emergency repairs
A cross-Solent ferry has been taken out of service for repairs to one of its main engines and propulsion system.
The defects on Red Osprey were spotted during a "routine inspection", operator Red Funnel said.
The firm said the faults did not affect safety, but could lead to greater damage.
It said sailings between Southampton and East Cowes would be disrupted before repairs are completed by the end of the weekend.
