Lollipop crossing plans changed ahead of school year

With just days until the new school year, primary school parents across Worcestershire still don't know whether their school's lollipop person will be there or not.

Worcestershire County Council had proposed permanently getting rid of 15 school crossing patrols at schools which already have permanent crossings.
The council says it will now remove lollipop people from light-controlled pelican crossings, yet says lollipop patrols at zebra crossings can stay, but only if a community group or a school funds them.
