The 2014 British Open Penny Farthing racing champion completed the course in 40 minutes and 24 seconds, at an average speed of 21.4km/h.

Quote Message: I enjoyed my lap but it was tough going. The short climb out of Pershore is quite steep and it was only just ridable. The middle section of the course was better and almost perfect for the Penny Farthing. I made good progress here and had great views over the hedgerows from my elevated riding position!" from Dave Preece
