  7. Weather: A cloudy night with some drizzle

    The first half of tonight will be often cloudy but dry with a few clear intervals developing at times. After midnight it will be mostly cloudy with the odd patch of drizzle.

    A murky start to Tuesday with plenty of low cloud. Through the day, the cloud may thin to allow for some brighter interludes. Mostly dry, but the odd spot of drizzle is possible again.

  8. Robber rips gold necklace from woman's neck

    A man on a bike grabbed a gold chain from around a woman's neck and stole it, police have said.

    It happened in Weymouth Street, Leicester street at about 15:30 on 12 November. She was not seriously injured and nothing else was taken.

    Police would like to speak to this man as part of their investigation.

    Three former Nottingham students helped to design and make this rather impressive outfit worn by Beyonce at the Global Citizen Festival earlier this month.

    Nottingham Trent University's school of art and design has said alumni, Liss Cooke, Emma Frances and Katie Hurst helped create this "hand-embellished masterpiece" by Mary Katrantzou.

  10. Portland Tiara theft suspects bailed

    Four people arrested over the theft of a diamond tiara have been released on bail.

    Three men aged 46, 38 and 33 and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of burglary on Friday.

    The arrests followed the theft of the Portland Tiara and a diamond brooch from The Welbeck Estate in Worksop last month.

    None of the items have been recovered.

    Police continue to appeal for information, particularly regarding a silver Audi RS5 Quattro which was found burnt out in Blidworth half-an-hour after the burglary and is believed to have been stolen and used in the heist.

  11. Rams 'have to keep fighting' for promotion

    Frank Lampard has said he's "delighted" Derby County picked up three points on Saturday and managed to keep their first clean sheet in 15 matches.

    The Rams beat Wigan 1-0 to go fourth in the Championship.

    He thinks his side are "underdogs" in the race for promotion. "A lot of teams have been stable for years, they've spent a lot of money, freshly from the Premier League.

    "We're in transition - brought in a lot of younger players. So we have to keep fighting."

  12. Man hospitalised in tram platform attack

    A man is in hospital with a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain after being seriously assaulted in Nottingham on Friday.

    it happened at the Noel Street tram stop in Hyson Green at about 23:20. The man in his 30s was left unconscious on the platform.

    Police investigating the attack are looking to talk to the man seen wearing a green jacket in this tram CCTV footage.

  13. Baroness to run for city mayor

    A former government minister has been named as the Conservative candidate for next May's Mayoral election in Leicester city.

    Baroness Sandip Verma was born in India and moved to the UK with her parents in the 1960s.

    Labour's Sir Peter Soulsby has held the position since it was created seven years ago.

    The Green Party is the only other party to name a candidate so far - it has put forward Mags Lewis.

  14. Notts County lead tributes to superfan, 104

    Notts County are hosting a send off for a 104-year-old who may have been their longest ever fan.

    Jack Challans, of Aspley, used to sneak into the club's ground as a child to watch them play almost a century ago.

    The "football-mad" great-great-grandad never stopped supporting the team, listening to or watching every game until his death last week, his granddaughter Sally Wilson-Challans said.

    The club - who sent him a birthday card signed by the players on his 100th birthday - got in touch with his relatives and agreed for the wake to be held at Meadow Lane.

  15. Concern for missing 16-year-old girl

    The 16-year-old, from Normanton in Derby, has not been seen since Saturday when she was wearing black leggings, black trainers and a grey jacket.

    Derbyshire police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her.
