Seven off-road motorcycles believed to be stolen have been seized by police in raids at storage premises in Liverpool.

The bikes were found at properties in the city's Baltic Triangle and in Waterloo Road by police acting on tip-offs from the community.

A man has died after collapsing at a building site in Bootle.

The 64-year-old was standing on scaffolding in Linacre Road when he suffered a medical episode on Tuesday morning, Merseyside Police said.

He died shortly after arriving at hospital.

It happened on 10 June as he walked home along Barnfield Avenue when he was hit from behind and kicked while on the ground.

Two men admit £16m Liverpool drugs conspiracy

Two men have admitted conspiracy to supply drugs with an estimated street value of £16m in Liverpool.

The 160kg (352lb) haul of cocaine, heroin and cannabis was found in a house, van and flat in the city in May.

He had emergency surgery in the early hours of this morning and is now in a stable condition in hospital.
