  9. Amber Peat inquest: Teenager 'sometimes reluctant to go home'

    East Midlands Today

The form tutor of a 13-year-old girl who was found hanged has told an inquest she was sometimes reluctant to go home.

Amber Peat was found dead in May 2015, three days after walking out of her Mansfield home following an argument over household chores.

The court heard that at school, Amber was attention-seeking but appeared intimidated by her step-father over homework.

On a visit to their GP, her mother Kelly, claimed Daniel Peat had a borderline personality disorder. Amber then said she thought she caused his bad moods.

    The inquest continues.
