  3. Donkeys 'loose in the road' in Shropshire

    Drivers in part of Shropshire are being warned of three donkeys "loose in the road" near a village.

    West Mercia Police is warning of the animals on the B5063 near High Ercall, not far from Shrewsbury and say motorists should take care.

  6. Boy returns to US to confirm cancer all-clear

    A five-year-old boy who had pioneering treatment in the United States for a rare strain of leukaemia is returning to America to check whether his cancer has returned.

    Zac Oliver and his family, from Broseley, Shropshire, travelled to Philadelphia after raising £500,000 for travel and treatment.

    In February, it was revealed on his Facebook page that he was cancer free.

    In a new post, Zac's mother Hannah Oliver-Willetts says he'll have a series of tests to check for cancer and it'll take up to two weeks to get back all the results.

    She says waiting to see whether the cancer has returned "is terrifying" and "never gets easier".

  7. Knife Angel on the move

    The imposing Knife Angel statue will move location today as it continues its tour of the UK.

    The sculpture was created in Shropshire from tens of thousands knives and stands at 27ft high.

    It has been on display at Coventry Cathedral, but will move to Victoria Square in Birmingham before heading to Gloucester.
