Pamela Horvathova was last seen on 18 December leaving Sheffield College.

Supt Paul McCurry said: “In a bid to jog someone’s memory and to offer the most recent visual description of Pamela we can, we've released CCTV stills and moving footage today.

“This shows Pamela arriving at Sheffield College on Granville Road on Tuesday 18 December, at about 11:30 and leaving the college just after 14:05.

Police are also pursuing a possible sighting of Pamela at Ice Sheffield on Coleridge Road the following day, but say this remains unconfirmed.

They say they're now treating her disappearance as a "critical incident".

Supt McCurry says: "Pamela is from a very small village back in Slovakia, a very tiny community.

"We think Pamela is out there in one of those communities, that could be still in Sheffield, or outside of Sheffield.

"We're appealing to the public, and the Roma and Slovakian community in particular, 'where is Pamela?'"

  7. South Yorkshire Police applicants must reveal tattoos

A Yorkshire police force recruiting new officers has asked applicants to send photos of their tattoos with their applications.

South Yorkshire Police issued guidance to people interested in joining the force as a police constable.

The Sheffield Star reported that the force said tattoos would "not necessarily" prevent someone from being successful, but there were guidelines around what is and is not acceptable.

Potentially offensive tattoos, or anything on the face, are not allowed.

Neither are tattoos on the neck, head, or hands, or facial or tongue piercings.

Tattoos on forearms or under the collar must not be visible when working with the public.

The guidance comes from South Yorkshire Police's Appearance and Standards Policy, which states anyone with tattoos, regardless of whether visible to the public or not, must send photographs with their applications.
