Allardyce expecting Cattermole to return
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce tells the media Lee Cattermole has trained today and he therefore expects a fully-fit squad to travel to Crystal Palace on Monday.
"We're all in it together and we have to stick together. We have to get on with the job," says Allardyce, whose team are 19th in the Premier League on just six points.
"There is a huge amount of experience in our squad so we need to go out and express ourselves."

The Millennium Bridge is celebrating 15 years since it was floated up the River Tyne and carefully secured into place between Newcastle and Gateshead.
Back in November 2000, the world's largest floating crane, Asian Hercules 11, gently manoeuvred the main span of the bridge to its final position on the Quayside.
The £22m bridge, nicknamed The Blinking Eye, is now widely recognised as one of the most artistic structures in the world.Watch video of it arriving here.

Warning after sat nav thefts from Seat Ibizas
A number of satellite navigation systems have been stolen from Seat Ibiza cars in Teesside.
Police say that since September, there have been 11 thefts. There have been five in Ingleby Barwick and Stillington areas since 5 November.
Det Supt Chris Moston from Cleveland Police said owners should remove the sat nav, which is mounted to the dashboard, when the car is not in use.
Disruption in Northumberland Street now cleared
The disruption in Newcastle's Northumberland Street is now over. Police said some loose fascia had caused part of the street to be cordoned off, and two workers in a cherry picker went up and fixed the problem.

Boro players pose topless for calendar to support steelworkers
Middlesbrough footballers are stripping off for a calendar to support redundant steelworkers on Teesside.
Defender George Friend came up with the idea of making the calendar with all the proceeds going to support the thousands who lost their jobs when the SSI plant closed down in Redcar earlier this year.
The public are being invited to have their say on plans to improve traffic and congestion on a key South Tyneside road.
The scheme on Leam Lane (A194), between the Lindisfarne and John Reid Road roundabouts will also include flood protection works.

South Tyneside Council is holding a consultation event on 24 November, from 14:00 to 20:00, and another on 28 November, from 10:00 to 14:00, both at Simonside Primary School in Jarrow.
McClaren: Newcastle have to keep grinding away
Newcastle boss Steve McClaren has been speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's match against Leicester.
He said: "Ranieri has come in to Leicester and done a fantastic job. He hasn't tinkered too much and has adapted very well to the PL.
"They have very good players, like Vardy, Mahrez and Drinkwater. That is why they are one point off the top.

Lindsay Sandiford, 59, has been in jail since 2012 after arriving in Bali from Thailand carrying drugs with a street value of £1.6m.
After talks with the Australian government, politics and security minister Luhut Binsar Panjaitan indicated there is little appetite for executions now.

Plastics firm merger 'set to create more jobs'
A partnership between Blyth and Hartlepool-based plastic firms have formed the Omega Group, with the number of jobs set to rise from 80 to more than 100.
The companies involved, Omega Plastics and Washington's Signal Plastics, will keep their current trading names.

Former SSI workers are being invited to attend a jobs and skills fair in Middlesbrough.
Up to 80 firms, including BAE Systems, Nissan, EE and Eddie Stobart will be taking part in the event at the Riverside Stadium tomorrow, and an expected 700 jobs will be available.
It has been set up by members of the SSI Task Force to help former steel staff, supply chain workers and their families find new employment and retraining opportunities.

The pupils from St Teresa’s RC Primary, Manor Community Academy and Catcote Academy will shadow the PCC Barry Coppinger for the day and provide him with a young person's perspective on policing.
Assistant Chief Constable Debbie Ford thanked those affected for their co-operation and patience.
She said: "The public's safety is our priority and we were right to take this level of precaution and I thank everyone for their cooperation. We ask that the public do remain vigilant and any one with any concerns of suspicious activity should report it to police."
Suspended sentence for crash driver
A man cleared of the attempted murder of his ex-partner has been given a suspended sentence for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Newcastle Crown Court was told that Pervaiz Mirza had two containers of petrol in his car, because he was planning to kill himself by setting himself on fire.
Tracy Taylor, who was in the car, struggled with him, and was doused in petrol just before he crashed at 85mph into the central reservation of Newcastle's Central Motorway.
She spoke up in court for him and said he had not intended to harm her.
He was given a 15-month sentence, suspended for two years.
Controlled explosion on suspicious item outside Gateshead school
Northumbria Police say a controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspicious item found behind a primary school in Gladstone Terrace, Gateshead.
Staff and pupils were sent home as a precaution and a number of residents were moved from nearby houses.
WWE wrestling star Newville might now be based in the US, but he says being a Newcastle fan remains part of his "identity".
The Newcastle-born 29-year-old has shortlisted which players he would choose as a tag-team partner.

An annual awareness campaign to highlight domestic abuse and violence returns to North Tyneside next week.
Last year there were 4,108 reported incidents of domestic abuse in North Tyneside, and more than half affected children, the council said.
Civic leaders hope the week will encourage more men and women to report domestic abuse.
As part of Operation Dragoon - which aimed to raise awareness of road safety - 11 vehicles were impounded and the owners reported.

Christmas 'parcel' to aid homeless
A massive Christmas "parcel" to help homeless people is being unveiled in Wallsend.
Shoppers at the Forum centre will be encouraged to donate gifts via a postbox-style slot on its side.
All donations will go to the homeless charity Crisis, whose Skylight centre in Newcastle helps hundreds of homeless and vulnerable people throughout the year in Tyne and Wear.
The club has announced that prior to tomorrow's home game against Leicester, players and match officials will gather around the centre circle for the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
The wording of the anthem will be displayed on the stadium screen.

No rush back for Middlesbrough striker

Middlesbrough will not rush striker Cristhian Stuani back to first-team action on his return from international duty, head coach Aitor Karanka has said.
The 29-year-old was called up by Uruguay in the recent round of fixtures despite not featuring for Boro since the 2-0 defeat by Reading on 3 October.
"t's not fair for a player to have been out two weeks to play [against QPR]," Karanka told BBC Tees.
'Damage risk' from one-hour alcohol delivery service
Some news in case you missed it yesterday - The online retailer Amazon has been criticised for offering one-hour delivery of alcohol as part of a new service in the North East.
Prime Now offers a selection of items including snacks, drinks, gifts, nappies, pizzas, milk and alcohol.
Alcohol awareness group Balance says the service will increase access to a product "already causing great damage".

Newcastle United to fly French flag
Newcastle United will show their solidarity with France in the wake of last Friday's terrorist attacks.
The club has announced that prior to tomorrow's home game against Leicester, players and match officials will gather around the centre circle for the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
The wording of the anthem will be displayed on the stadium screen.
French Tricolour flags will also fly above the East Stand as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives, and United's players will wear black armbands.
