Erica is pictured with some members of Bellahouston Harriers, and is the running club's first female president in its 122 year history.

It's not the first time she's done this sort of thing either. Erica was a baton bearer for the 1970 Edinburgh Commonwealth Games.

  4. Team Fiji finally with the baton

    Team Fiji with the baton

Members of Team Fiji got to hold the Queen's baton during its tour of the Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village in Glasgow earlier.

Fiji is the only nation or territory represented at Glasgow 2014 the relay did not officially visit because the country was suspended from the Commonwealth when the baton was in the south Pacific in November and December 2013.

That suspension was lifted in March.

  5. What's it all about?

If you're still wondering what all this Commonwealth Games malarkey is, and are a bit pushed for time, then BBC Shorts have produced a 15 second-long video explainer.

We've had a lot of messages over the past 40 days praising the police escort officers who ran alongside the baton bearers.

"Unfortunately his wee sister Olivia and I are in Lanzarote but thanks to technology, and of course the BBC, we could watch live and speak to him (there were many tears at my end).
