A motorcyclist from Lancashire has died following a collision in a North Yorkshire village earlier this week.
The crash, between a blue and white Triumph Bonneville motorbike and a silver Land Rover Freelander, happened on the A65 in Austwick at about 18:30 on Tuesday.
Both vehicles are believed to have been travelling in the direction of Settle when the collision took place.
The biker, a man in his 70s from Lancashire, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw either of the vehicles before the crash, or who witnessed the collision, to get in touch with police.
Anyone with any information, including any dash-cam footage taken in the area prior to or after the collision, is also being asked to contact the North Yorkshire force.
