A man has died in hospital nearly two months after he was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing, say police.
Tom Cooke, 42, suffered serious injuries in the crash at 21:45 BST on 25 April on St Oswalds Way in Chester.
He was taken to the Walton Centre in Liverpool and died on 15 June.
Cheshire Police said a 30-year-old man from Chester had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released under investigation.
Mr Cooke's family said he will be "very sadly missed by all of his family and friends".
