Warm airmass to travel across NI
The warm weather spell in Northern Ireland is not set to last for much longer. 
A disturbance and eastward shift in the jet stream on Tuesday night will bring some downpours, thunder and lightning as a weather front edges in from the west. 
Some of that may well fringe into parts of Northern Ireland, with eastern counties looking most prone.

Northern Ireland has seen quite a change in the weather since the soggy last day at The Open in Portrush, with temperatures rising into the mid 20s in places.
Monday was our warmest day of the year so far, with a temperature of 26.5C at Killowen, Co.Down.

Bike tyres damaged by razor blades 'placed on path'

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist's bike tyres were damaged by razor blades on a cycle path on the Cregagh Road in Belfast.

The incident was reported to police at around 15.45 BST on Saturday.

Sgt Tom Donnelly said: "This is an extremely dangerous thing to do and whoever was responsible could have caused serious injury."

Police are asking for anyone who has any more information on the incident to come forward.

Chief constable 'must act on commitment to tackle UVF'

East Belfast MP Gavin Robinson has said the new PSNI chief constable must act on his commitment to take on the loyalist paramilitary group, the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF).

"It's encouraging to hear what the chief constable has had to say... but the community want action," he said.

Last week, Chief Constable Simon Byrne said the PSNI would "not tolerate" the UVF and would "take it on using all the powers".

Mr Byrne made the comments following tensions surrounding a bonfire in the grounds of the Avoniel Leisure Centre in east Belfast.

Woman dies in two-car crash in Armagh

She was driving one of two cars involved in a collision at the junction of Loughgall Road and Ballybrannon Road at 14:45 BST on Sunday.

Police are appealing for information.
