Turnout and LAB majority
The City of Chester seat was the Conservatives' number one target constituency at this general election.
Labour incumbent Chris Matheson was defending a tiny majority of 93 but, on a swing of 8% from the Tories, he has increased that to 9,176.
Could the Conservatives' failure to win seats like this ultimately cost Theresa May a majority in the House of Commons?

Chester's incumbent Labour candidate Chris Matheson (defending his party's smallest majority of 93) says the exit poll is "startling", but is "taking nothing for granted".
He says things are so close in his seat that "any slight swing away from Labour would give us difficulties".

UKIP did well in the 2013 local elections but faced a virtual wipe-out when the same council seats were contested last week.
I asked voters in the marginal Chester seat if they thought the anti-EU party should fight on or pack up with his mood box, an unscientific test with a plastic box and balls.
