  2. Johnson's wind energy ambitions get a welcome in Cumbria

A Cumbrian environmental group says there's the possibility of more jobs being created in Cumbria, following the Prime Minister's announcement that £160m is going to be invested in offshore wind power.

In an online speech to the Conservatives' conference yesterday Boris Johnson said he wanted to make the UK the world's leading green energy supplier within 10 years.

Cumbria already has one of the world's largest wind farms off the coast of Walney.

Jaki Bell, from Cumbria Action for Sustainability, says more development is good news for the county.
