Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF), which represents investments worth £250bn, sent a rep to the Sports Direct meeting. Or rather, it tried to. LAPFF says the following:

"LAPFF was surprised to arrive at the Sports Direct results meeting this morning only to be told that the meeting had been postponed because the results weren’t ready. This came after receiving an invitation to the meeting only two days ago and having two prior engagement meetings cancelled by the company.

"The Forum has been engaging with UK PLCs for almost 30 years and has never seen this happen before.

"Not a good look."

BreakingAnother delay from Sports Direct
