The Duke of Cambridge said he "felt things" he "never felt before" following 999 calls as a pilot.
The cold weather is not putting the team off at the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
They say it's been a "brisk start" for the Anglia One crew, based in Norwich.

The air ambulance landed in Peterborough this morning after reports of concern for a man in the Woodston area.
Police officers were also called to the junction of Celta Road and Belsize Avenue - at about 08:40.
The man has been taken to hospital.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the road is expected to be closed for some time.
A motorcyclist, believed to be his 20s, has been airlifted to hospital following a collision in north Norfolk earlier today.
The NHS East of England Ambulance Service received a call shortly before 12:00 to a report of a collision between a motorbike and tractor on Stibbard Road in Fulmodeston, near Cromer.
The man was treated for a serious arm injury and airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for further treatment.
