Patients of fraudulent Cumbrian psychiatrist to be contacted

The NHS trust responsible for mental health care in the county says it'll be contacting all patients who had dealings with the bogus psychiatrist, Zholia Alemi.

Zholia Alemi
Cumbria Police

She was jailed last month for faking the will of a patient to benefit herself, and it emerged she worked in the UK for over two decades without a medical degree.

The Cumbria Partnership Trust says it understands patients and families may be concerned, and anyone with immediate worries should contact their GP.
