Six people released on bail following Newcastle Bahr Academy hate crime

Six people arrested after a hate crime attack on a Newcastle Islamic education centre have been released on bail.

Copies of the Koran at the Bahr Academy were torn up and the building extensively damaged during the incident on Monday night.

Police arrested two 14-year-old boys and a girl, two 16-year-old boys and an 18-year-old girl and they have all have now been released.
