A head teacher has got creative to raise funds for charities that help children and their families.
Jim Balmbra, head of primary at Castle Newnham School in Bedford, "became" cook, maitre d' and diner in his school's Lockdown Lunch Challenge photo.
It works by asking children to prepare a meal, snack or dinner and then ask parents or carers to donate what they would have paid in a restaurant to the cause.
So far about £1,400 has been raised of the £1,500 target.
Ruth Wilkes, the federation principle, said: "We are delighted to help raise funds for some superb local charities whose work is so vital at this time in providing additional food as well as mental health and wellbeing support for children and families in our community."
