A diver who helped rescue 12 boys and their football coach from flooded caves in northern Thailand has been honoured for his actions.
Jason Mallinson, from Huddersfield, received an honorary doctorate from his home-town university following the rescue operation in July 2018.
He was award the doctorate from the University of Huddersfield's School of Human and Health Sciences.
Mr Mallinson brought four of the boys to safety.
The 12 boys, their coach and rescuers attended ceremonies to mark one year since they went missing in Chang Rai.
