Vicky Hall acted in TV shows for 28 years, starting in Byker Grove and going on to roles in Doctors, Casualty and Holby City.

But Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust said the birth of her two children led the 42-year-old to consider a career change.

She's now qualified as a nurse and has started work in the A&E unit at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch.
