Twin brothers have admitted raising money in England to fund terrorist activity in Somalia.

Mohammed Shabir Ali and Mohammed Shafiq Ali, 25, from Tower Hamlets, east London, admitted raising cash knowing it would be sent abroad for terrorism.

The Old Bailey heard the identical twins raised the money between August 2008 and June last year.

Judge Mr Justice Fulford remanded them in custody ahead of sentencing on Wednesday morning.
