Disruption to some rail services in south Wales has been caused by an "operational incident", according to National Rail.

Some train services have been cancelled or delayed following the incident between Cardiff Central station and Cardiff Queen Street station.

Trains headed for Treherbert, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil were also diverted.

National Rail said the lines have now reopened and disruption is expected to end at 14:00 BST.
