Two stopped on M25 admit supplying £1.3m amphetamine

Two men have pleaded guilty to supplying drugs after police found £1.3m worth of amphetamine in a car travelling on the M25 in Surrey.

Paul Shaw, 35, of Rotherham in South Yorkshire and Gary Kurlej, 39, of Bournemouth in Dorset, admitted the charge at Guildford Crown Court.

The pair were arrested after Surrey Police stopped a car at junction 11 of the M25 at 1130 BST on 30 April.

They were remanded in custody on Friday to await trial at a date to be decided.

Police said following their arrest that about 130kg of the Class B drug was seized.
