Thousands of tents left behind at the V Festival in Staffordshire are expected to be sent to help Pakistan's flood victims.

John Marsh from Ironbridge and Severn Gorge Lions Club is among volunteers packing up tents left at Weston Park, near the Shropshire border.

He said last year about 3,500 tents found at the site were sent to help people in need.

More than 20 million people have been affected by the flooding in Pakistan.

Mr Marsh said good tents as well as equipment left at the site were sent to International Aid in Preston.

He said volunteers "work solidly" after the festival so the tents can be sent to the charity on Tuesday.

About 90,000 people attended the annual music festival at Weston Park.
