A pedestrian who died after crash in Essex named

A 27-year-old man from Hertfordshire who died in hospital a day after he was hit by a car in Essex, has been named.

Pawel Jablonski, from Bishops Stortford, was struck by a car in The Street in the village of Sheering, on 7 October.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in nearby Harlow and later transferred to the Royal London Hospital.

But Mr Jablonski, who had serious head injuries, died the next day.
