A former police officer has admitted tipping off a suspect about a potential raid.

Grania Hale was suspended by Sussex Police after being charged with misconduct in public office in August.

Maidstone Crown Court heard she told a suspect that a search warrant was likely to be executed.

The 34-year-old former constable, of Newbury, Berkshire, admitted the charge at Maidstone Crown Court and is due to be sentenced there on 18 November.
