The shooting took place in an alleyway on Saturday
Police investigating a double shooting in an alleyway in County Durham have recovered a firearm.
Two men were shot in Spennymoor on Saturday. One was taken to hospital but neither was seriously hurt.
Durham Police had been searching the area during the week and found the weapon in an outbuilding behind Clyde Terrace.
One man has been charged in connection with the shooting and six men who were arrested have been released on bail.
