Police are questioning a man over the murder of businessman Julian Gardner
Police are given more time to question a Kent man over the murder of businessman Julian Gardner at his East Sussex farm.
The body of Mr Gardner, 53, was discovered by his business partner near outbuildings at Bush Barn Farm, near Robertsbridge.
Sussex Police said they arrested a man in Ashford early on Saturday and were holding him on suspicion of murder.
A spokesman said the suspect remained in custody for further questioning.
Police believe Mr Gardner was killed during a botched burglary sometime between 2300 BST on 10 October and 0200 BST the following morning.
