Convicted burglars targeted in Darlington campaign
- Published
Police are to carry out unannounced visits on convicted burglars as part of a winter crime crackdown.
Darlington Council and the police have joined forces and will patrol hot-spot areas for burglaries and anti-social behaviour to try to deter criminals.
Officers will also be on hand to offer free home safety checks and offer crime prevention advice.
An anti-crime roadshow will be held at the town's Dolphin Centre on Monday between 1500 and 1800 GMT.
