Man killed in Sussex crash named

A 19-year-old man killed in a collision in East Sussex on Saturday has been named.

Kane Coffey, of Dungeness Road, Dungeness, Kent, was struck on the A259 in Rye at 0220 BST after getting out of a Ford Escort car. He died at the scene.

The 22-year-old male driver of the other vehicle, a Fiat Punto, was uninjured in the crash.

The investigation is continuing and Sussex Police are seeking witnesses.
