Children injured in hit-and-run crash in Norwich

Two children have been seriously injured in a suspected hit-and-run crash in Norwich.

It happened at a bus stop close to the Cherry Tree pub in Costessey at about 1800 GMT on Saturday.

A 14-year-old boy suffered head injuries and his 12-year-old sister suffered a shoulder injury. Their father suffered minor injuries.

Norfolk Police could give no details about the vehicle which was involved in the incident.

All three injured were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital.
