Sixteen people charged after drug dealing crackdown

Sixteen people have been charged with drugs offences following dawn raids in Surrey, Sussex and London.

About 200 officers took part in Operation Erstwhile which targeted 16 properties in Woodhatch, Redhill, Horley, Crawley, Belvedere and Brixton.

Six people have been charged with supplying Class A drugs, while 10 have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

They are all due before Guildford magistrates.

Surrey Police led the operation on Thursday morning, aided by the Sussex and Hampshire forces.

Hydroponics equipment, money and suspected stolen goods were also recovered.
