Man arrested after missing girl found safe in Leicester

A 14-year-old girl missing since Saturday has been found safe and well in Leicester, police have said.

The girl, from Essex, went missing after going out to meet friends.

A spokesman for Essex police said: "The girl is safe and well and will be questioned by police before being reunited with her family."

A 21-year-old man arrested at an address in Leicester on suspicion of false imprisonment and child abduction is being questioned by Essex police.
