Body found in Sussex is missing Portsmouth man


The body of a man who went missing from Portsmouth two weeks ago has been discovered in Sussex.

Robert Porter, 42, left his house in Sovereign Drive, Southsea, on the afternoon of 10 February.

Despite an extensive police search, Mr Porter was not found.

A body found in Sussex, near to Rowlands Castle, on 18 February has since been identified as that of Mr Porter. A file is being prepared for the coroner.
