Wessex and Bristol Water fund bill payment advice

Debt advice agencies across the west of England have been given £310,000 to help people struggling to pay their water bills.

Wessex Water provided £250,000 and Bristol Water donated £60,000 to help vulnerable people.

The money will go to agencies in Bristol, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Sue Lindsay, from Wessex Water, said they wanted to help customers in financial distress get support.
