Poppy fund thefts: Cheshire police name Bradley Higham

Police have named a man they want to speak to over the theft of several Royal British Legion collection boxes in Cheshire.

Officers have appealed to Bradley Higham, 33, from Birchwood, to contact them over the thefts in Frodsham and Warrington during the past two weeks.

The theft of Poppy Appeal money from a Frodsham bakery on Armistice Day has been linked with eight other crimes.

Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.

Ch Insp Jon Ward said: "We are keen for this man to come forward in order for my officers to continue their investigations into this very emotive crime that has caused a great deal of concern and upset within the communities of Frodsham and Warrington.

"I would make a personal appeal for Bradley Higham to present himself at his nearest police station or make contact with us as a matter of urgency."
