Tributes to Timothy Brockhurst after V festival death
Tributes have been paid to a 22-year-old man who died at the V Festival in Weston Park at the weekend.
Timothy Brockhurst, from Market Drayton, Shropshire, was found not breathing in his tent in the early hours of Sunday morning.
His employer Mercian Tree Specialists described him as "irreplaceable" and said colleagues were deeply saddened by his death.
His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
'Fine young man'
In a statement, a spokesman for the firm said Mr Brockhurst, a tree surgeon, was very popular.
"He approached his work very much as he approached life with a real sense of purpose and a great sense of humour.
"Thoroughly liked by all, he was a pleasure to work with and a true professional.
"He was never happier than when faced with a challenging task that he would always rise to and overcome.
"Timmy is quite simply irreplaceable and all of us that worked with him are deeply saddened by his untimely death and are grateful that we had the opportunity to have our lives touched by such a fine young man."
A spokesman for the V Festival, on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border, has said: "We are all very saddened by this tragic incident, and we want to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of this young man."
The cause of Mr Brockhurst's death remained unknown and a post-mortem examination will take place early next week, police added.
