Man charged with Diana Lee murder in Holmes Chapel

A man has been charged with the murder of a Cheshire woman whose body was found in a burning garage.

The body of Diana Lee, 54, was found by firefighters tackling the blaze at her home on Byley Lane in Cranage, near Holmes Chapel, on 9 August.

A post-mortem examination found Mrs Lee had died from head injuries.

David Ryan, 47, of Hale, Altrincham, was due to appear before Crewe magistrates charged with her murder.
