Man charged after Cambridgeshire police injured

A Suffolk man has been charged after a car pursuit in Cambridgeshire which left two police officers with minor injuries.

Police were trying to halt a car after reports of an attempted break-in at Abbey Place, Fordham, early on Tuesday.

Two vehicles were rammed and the officers injured in the arrest.

Carl Scarrow, 31, of St Johns Close, Mildenhall, was charged with failing to stop, dangerous driving, burglary, attempted burglary, and theft.

He is due before magistrates in Cambridge later.

The two police officers were treated for minor injuries at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
