Man charged after motorcyclist killed in Essex crash

A man from Suffolk has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Essex.

The 29-year-old from Haverhill was arrested at the scene of the accident in Hempstead at 07:00 BST on 4 July.

He has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Colchester on 6 November.

Derek Foster, 37, from Winstanley Road in Saffron Walden was pronounced dead by paramedics attending the incident.

The collision between a car and the motorbike happened on the B1054 between Boytons Lane and Water Lane.
