Some rail services in Staffordshire have been cancelled because of flooding in the Uttoxeter area.

East Midlands Trains said replacement buses were running between Derby and Stoke-on-Trent.

It advised people travelling between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe to use London Midland services which were calling additionally at Longport.

East Midlands Trains apologised to passengers and said it was working with Network Rail to resume services.

Three flood warnings apply in Staffordshire, two on the River Sow in the Tixall area and one on the River Blithe at Bancroft.
