Ann-Marie Carruthers named as A69 crash victim

A 37-year-old woman found dead in her overturned car in Northumberland has been named.

The body of Ann-Marie Carruthers was found in a silver Peugeot on the A69, near Hayden Bridge, in the early hours of Saturday.

Police are trying to establish how the vehicle left the road and are appealing for witnesses.

Ms Carruthers was from Moss Bay Road, Workington, in Cumbria. The road was closed for four hours.
